So, I Quit My Job...

This week the dreaded day came where I had to break the news to the owners at my practice that I will be leaving for university in September.

I've been working as a patient coordinator at this practice for two and a half years, and it's been this experience that lead to me apply for hygiene in the first place. If it wasn't for university, I definitely wouldn't be leaving and I'm deeply sad that I have to. (Unfortunately commuting to Leeds is completely impossible - someone needs to sort this teleportation business out rapidly!)
I think I was almost as nervous for this moment as I was for my university interviews! However, it actually turned out far better than I had anticipated.
The reaction I've received has made me feel really valued by my managers and the team. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity I have had, the things I have learnt and the wonderful experience I have gained, which no doubt supported my university application. I have made some lifelong friends through this practice and I will miss the fantastic team I have worked with, but I can only hope that our paths will cross again in the future!
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post today.
Remember, #healthiswealth !
Lots of love,
